Info: A murderer has killed a family of 3 yesterday at 6:00 pm. There are multiple puncture wounds in each of the people, and the suspected weapon is probably a butcher knife.
At the scene: The mother was found dead in the hallway. Blood was smeared everywhere, probably from a struggle that she was trying to protect her young 8 year old son. The son was found in the closet of his room. No other blood was in his room so he must have hid in the closet, where the murderer found him and killed him then and there. The father was found near the front door. He was most likely coming home from work at the wrong time and unfortunately was killed.
Evidence found: The murderer left a message for us. Pinned on the wall of the little boys room was a paper. On it was the following message:
Did you know that 'Sora' is in Kingdom Hearts?
Also in a beer bottle wiped of his finger prints said this:
I'll be at 1 of 3 places. The video game store, the boat shop, or the bar. You must only send ONE person to ONE of the places. Send anymore, genocide will be the consequence. You have three days.
Your mission: Find out what place the murderer is and explain why with the evidence given to you.

urgh, fine, i don't think i'll be able to figure it out quickly, but i certainly will try.
here's my thought process while i try to find the real answer(this will probably only be partial):
what we know:
-3 people were killed
-the father died on the doorstep
-the mother died in the hallway
-the boy died in the closet
-the murderer left a note on the wall of the boy's room about Sora from Kingdom Hearts
-the murderer left a beer bottle with a note in it
-the beer bottle left was wiped clean of all fingerprints
-in the note in the beer bottle, the murderer claims that he will meet one person at either the videogame store, the boat shop, or the bar.
... now that we have a firm grasp of the obvious, now for the fun part.
what we can immediately deduce:
-the killer is a drunk, or at least likes a good drink. both the beer bottle and the bar as a proposed meeting place support this.
-the killer has at least a mild love of videogames, supported both by the note and by the proposed meeting place of the videogame store.
-the mother was murdered first, then the son, then the father. the father could have also been murdered first, but more than likely he was killed while the murderer was on his way out the door.
-the murderer has some way to make sure that only ONE person is in only ONE of the proposed meeting places, otherwise we could do the simple thing and send one person to each location and catch him.
-the only proposed location that has no evidence supporting it is the boat shop. this is either because the writer is lazy and thought of a third location out of the blue and it is irrelevant, or because the killer is attempting to throw us off.
-if the killer's demands are not met, he will kill more people.
-the killer intends to show up at one of the three locations.
-the killer CLEARLY needs to get a life.
-the note about Sora either has some sort of relevance, or was written for the sheer purpose of throwing us off (in which case, it's still relevant, just not as much)
What I think of all this:
-the killer is probably either at the bar or the boat shop. the bar because that has the most evidence behind it, the boat shop for the exact opposite reason.
-the note about Sora is throwing me off
-people like to drink when they are out boating, and we have already deduced this guy is a drunk.
-my gut is telling me that it's the boat shop.
My Answer:
send someone to the boat shop, because that had the least evidence at the scene of the crime and was thus the least suspicious, which is what a smart killer would have wanted. also, drinking and videogames are fun activities while boating. i might be totally wrong and there will be a mass genocide because of me, but i'm down with that.
